  They are busy and they will cut corrners where they can get away with it. They would not let me write my own testimony on what happened with my case and they got upset when I tried to give details of the crime committed because no police officer wants to take on felony paper work for lesser crimes. Its easier to talk the victim into wording the testmony where minimal paperwork is required. The gentleman that sits at the front desk is incapable of smiling and he gets very annoyed when he has to do his job. It seems that the busy workload they get here at this PD makes it difficult for them to do a thorough job. If you a criminal going through yorktown court you can count on being treated like a criminal and if your a victim like myself they will not give you straight foward answers and they will be annoyed with you interacting with the police department wheather it be over the phone or in person at the PD. This was just my expirence with my hometown PD which was unfortunate for me but they do have good intentions. They just dont like high workloads but then again who does. Thank guys!

  Horrible service, got stuck in the woods took nearly two hours to help. The operator was very helpful how ever the officer that finally came was not. Despite my crying and having two anxiety attacks being stuck for 5 hours alone, Officer Paterson was very rude and inconsiderate. Asking the normal questions about why My and my photographer friend was there in the first place and we explained it was for an upcoming photo shoot for my agency, he was so judgmental laughed, and sighed some snotty comment. I tried to say thank you and refused to acknowledge me. Taking my photographers information he preceded to gave us a ticket for "unpaved road". This made no sense because there was no sign and other cars were there! York Town P.D. You should be ashamed of yourself. I come from a family of NYPD officers! My father is a Retired Lieutenant and Army Vet who now does Police commentary for different news organizations such as Fox,CNN, etc. I will be filing a complaint. Please return my calls and make it right. You're officers need some sensitivity training! How dare he insult me, and then complain that we ruined his day by coming out to do his JOB! his job is to save people from danger, and ensure safety not complain!
